The film industry is part of my genes and of those of the DESSANGE brand
The story began 50 years ago: my grandfather worked in the film industry. He was part of the groundwork that led to the creation of the Cannes Film Festival!
As for my mother, she was Press attached to Brigitte Bardot.
From that time on, a very close relationship

with the acquisition of Fantastic Sams
DESSANGE International announces that it has acquired all of the outstanding shares of
Fantastic Sams Holding Corporation.
Present in 45 countries under the DESSANGE Paris and Camille Albane brands, the acquisition of Fantastic Sams doubles DESSANGE Internationals franchise network. As a result of the acquisition, DESSANGE International now has over 2,000 salons, of which 1,500 are located outside of France.
Fantastic Sams is a leading hair salon franchisor in the United States, offering a wide range of hair care services to the entire family at affordable prices, as well as the sale of hair care products. Fantastic Sams opened its first salon in Memphis, Tennessee in 1974 and began franchising salons in 1976. At the end of 2011, the network included 1,215 salons all throughout North America, the worlds largest hair care market, and has strongly increased sales and profitability over the past five years.
The acquisition of Fantastic Sams is in line with DESSANGE Internationals expansion strategy in the United States, following the acquisition of the DESSANGE Paris North American master franchise in April 2011. DESSANGE International will rely on Fantastic Sams strong management team and organization to accelerate the growth of its existing franchises and product brands in North America, with the first goal of introducing and developing the Camille Albane brand in North America.

Over 16 years experience working in the hair industry. His career began with Dessange in Paris, where his talent was recognized early on and he began his career as a protégé working directly under Mr. Dessange. Charles moved to America in 1995, steadily built a loyal client following, and opened his own salon under the Dessange hallmark in 2002.

Norbert began his career with Dessange in Paris, France.
His styling expertise combined with his strong leadership abilities earned him the promotion to Artistic Director to lead a Dessange salon in Beirut, Lebanon.
A yearning to move to America led him to join Jose Eber's salon in Los Angeles where he worked directly alongside Mr. Eber.
In California, Norbert's impressive talent led a vast array of National and International celebrities to his styling chair. Mr. Eber capitalized on Norbert's leadership abilities and promoted him to Artistic Director of the Austin, Texas salon.
Norbert learned of the presence of Dessange in Houston and left Austin to return to his original heritage.
Hairstyling has always been Samuel Rocher's passion. He was only 16 when he started his career in Brittany.
Soon after, he moved to Paris to become the assistant to the famous master stylist Bruno Pittini.
After some time spent perfecting his skills and acquiring expertise in his trade, Samuel joined the winning team of the renowned Alexandre de Paris in 1992 and was invited to work on fashion shows with famous designers, Yves Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Christian Lacroix, Jacques Fath, Anna Mori, to name a few.
His passion for excellence and his drive to share his skills with other professionals of the beauty industry led him to DESSANGE and its Reseach and Training Center. As one of its few instructors, he assisted in the successful openings of DESSANGE salons in Europe and the Middle East.
At 27, he took over the DESSANGE salon in Neuilly, a suburb of Paris, and turned it around in one single year, making it the most profitable franchise salon of the group, with a staff of 45.
In 2004, Samuel fell in love with the culture and the beauty of Portugal, and opened the first DESSANGE and Camille ALBANE franchises in the country, as well as a DESSANGE Training Center.
Six years later, he opened his own salon, Samuel Rocher Atelier de Coiffure , which instantly became the beauty stop of the Portuguese elite.
In three years only, he was named 180 times in national press articles, including Vogue, Elle and Cosmopolitan, and 50 times in international magazines, out of which 12 in the American press.
He was a special guest to many events such as the Estoril Film Festival, Lisbon Fashion Week, and local TVs shows.
Over the years, he earned the trust of an exclusive clientele, among whom famous French actors Jean-Paul Belmondo, Catherine Deneuve, Isabelle Huppert, Juliette Binoche; international movie and fashion celebrities such as Pierce Brosnan, Anna Wintour, Raquel Welch, Meryl Streep, Ines de la Fressange; political personalities such as President of France Jacques Chirac, Saudi Arabias royal family, the former President of Brazil and his wife, Mrs Cardoso, to name a few.
Samuel is very excited to now represent the DESSANGE brand in the United States and is looking forward to bringing a new vision and a new dynamic to the group's salon in Chevy Chase.
French native form the South of France,
Olivier Meyjonade formerly business owner of a well reputated company in the mechanic industry has fallen for the beauty world of DESSANGE when he met the founder of the group in Paris.
Always fascinated by the world of fashion and beauty, he has started his new business as a pioneer of DESSANGE salon and spa in Florida.
Spacious and at the edge of a new trendy place for beauty and relaxation, the salon and spa have been entirely designed by Olivier and his wife, Carlota Meyjonade, selecting each member of the team to be serving the best quality of services, to serve Excellence.
